Genetically modified foods (or GM foods) are foods produced from organisms that have had specific changes introduced into their DNA using the methods of genetic engineering. Brazil is the second largest producer of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in the world, behind only the United States. Brazil has about 37 million hectares (92 million acres) of land planted with GM crops. The sale of GMOs was banned in 1998 due to a lawsuit by the Brazilian Institute for Consumer Defense. In 2003, the government again permitted sale of GMO foods. An estimated 90% of all soybean crops in Brazil are genetically modified, making it the largest GMO crop.

Yes, but producers should not be able to patent seeds and prevent them from being replanted, and regulations should be increased to avoid environmental damage

Yes, fully labelled like advertising and in controlled growing so there is no accidental cross breading on the lands of others.
@8PN6M4Z3yrs3Y
Yes and no only if their grown in lab greenhouses with heavy monitoring and heavily test them to see if they're adequate and if they have a negative impact or destroy biodiversity also so the won't interfere with other crops also increase biodiversity in food sector
@8PJHVJN3yrs3Y
No, ban genetic engineering, GMOs cause cancer and Monsanto is evil and needs to go
