Heavy bombardment in central and southern Gaza has created devastating scenes, with Palestinian officials saying more than 200 people have been killed in the past 24 hours.
The overall death toll has now exceeded 22,000.Israeli forces carried out deadly raids in the occupied West Bank, including in Azzun and Jenin, killing at least five Palestinians.
Intense fighting is ongoing between Hamas fighters and Israeli soldiers, even as Tel Aviv has started evacuating some of its troops from the northern parts of Gaza.
